This is a Hello Kitty tour bus.
You can see many Hello Kitty not only outside of the bus but also inside of the bus.
This bus is a "Hato Bus" which for Tokyo sight seeing in a day.
You can enjoy Tokyo" with Hello Kitty.

Miniature Cha-ya ( 茶屋 )

Cha-ya ( 茶屋 ) is a traditional Japanese rest house in old time.
Those are miniature cha-ya.
I took these photo in a 100 yen shop.
Those are sold as penny box.
Even miniature, it has a nostalgic atmosphere.

No Enter

This is a construction sign in Japan.
The character is mangatic (animetic).
He has very big eyes.



You can see four kanji symbols in the photo above.
"立入禁止" means no enter.

Chindon-ya

I took this photo on a main street of my city.
Chindon-ya means traditional street performers (marching band) who advertise for local business.
When I was a little boy, I used to see chindon-ya.
But in these days, I rare see them.
And I think that the style of chindon-ya(in this photo) is a little different from chindon-ya in old days.

I took this photo in a supermarket.
This is a hello kitty popcorn vending machine.
You can buy hot popcorn by it.
It is popular among little girls.

You can choose flavor among three flavors, caramel, salt, and butter.

Hanami

Hanami (花見) means cherry blossom viewing in English.
It is a Japanese traditional custom which celebrate spring.
Japanese really love cherry blossom.
